Dr. Zakaria Halime received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Rennes 1, France, in 2006. After a postdoc experience in organic synthetic chemistry at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of Orléans (ICOA), France, he joined the group of Prof. Kenneth D. Karlin at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA, as a postdoctoral researcher for 3 years. During this period, he was also a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor in Osaka University (Prof. S. Fukuzumi research group), Japan, for few months. Dr. Halime returned to France in 2012 where he was first a research engineer at Brest University then the founder and the CEO of Easy Chelators company. In 2016, he was appointed a CNRS (French National Research Agency) Senior Researcher (CR1) position at Paris-Saclay University.
