Our challenge is to achieve the total synthesis of complexe indole alkaloids, in particular indolomonoterpene alkaloids and arylated indoline alkaloids (such as benzofuroindoline-containing alkaloids).

We aim to develop original strategies towards dearomatizations of indoles in order to obtain biologically relevant three dimensional scaffolds and to achieve the total synthesis of natural products. In particular, we study the Umpolung of N-Ac indoles and oxidative couplings of indoles. We also investigate electrochemistry to perform such transformations.
